Yes. The Free plan gives you 15 runs a day, every day, with no credit card and no trial clock ticking. You only pay if you decide you want more.
What is a run?
One run is one message to MELDRUN — however many steps it takes behind the scenes to finish the job. If it searches the web ten times to answer you once, that's still one run.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The app runs in your mobile browser on iPhone and Android. There's a sideloadable Android APK, and on iPhone you can Add to Home Screen from Safari for an app-like feel.
What can it actually do?
It searches the web, reads pages and documents, works with files, generates images, remembers context across chats, talks to you by voice as Mel, and can run scheduled watches while you're away — then report back to your inbox.
